These chairs are constructed with solid teak and textilene upholstery. Textilene is comfortable, hard wearing and easy to clean. There are two chairs in the set. Click on picture for full details and to see the chairs with a Chelsea extending table.
Teak is renowned for its beautiful light appearance, extreme hardness and durability which will age to a stylish silver colour over time unless treated.
Eucalyptus is also renowned for its strength and durability. It's a high density wood with straight grain, smooth finish and rich honey colour which features subtle natural rose highlights. It is kiln dried, oil treated and has a luxurious finish.
Weathering occurs over a period of time, you can expect to see changes in the timber after a few weeks. Timber is a natural material, it absorbs moisture in wet conditions and is likely to expand. In dry conditions the timber dries and may well shrink a very small amount, as the material moves surface cracks will appear in the timber. You can maintain the appearance of your Royalcraft Teak and Eucalyptus furniture by lightly sanding down the timber and applying timber treatment, oil and sealer, see below for results.
