Following on from the established Ocean and San Marino
Ranges, Alexander Rose has now designed the Manila
Collection, a mainly traditional style with a modern twist.
In order to widen the choice of ranges, the Manila collection
is woven using a 7mm fl at synthetic rattan in an open weave
pattern, giving a lighter look and see through quality, as
opposed to the closed weaving patterns of the Ocean and
San Marino ranges. The dual tone Mocca colour blends in
very well with any setting, whether in or outdoors.
Weaving a symmetrical open pattern with consistent
size octagonal holes requires great concentration and
experience from the Alexander Rose in-house weavers. The end result
is another beautiful designer collection of handcrafted
furniture that Alexander Rose is proud to offer their high
quality seeking customers.
Only top quality “Viro” fibre is used for weaving and this
is guaranteed for 3 years against fading and ageing. This
maintenance free furniture is designed to withstand
changing weather conditions and it offers a desirable
alternative to traditional timber products.
The Manila Collection consists of 8 pieces; 2 dining tables,
round and oval, curved and high back stacking chairs, a
traditional square back armchair, an impressive high wing
chair with a footrest, and fi nally an adjustable sunbed.
